Larval Hosts: Polyphagous:  Detrits, Legumes, Lichens, Angelica, Sweetvetch, Spruce, Douglas Fir, dead leaves.
Comments: Apparently these caterpillars have been known to scavenge for detritis in bird and ant nests. Yellowjacket Wasps are also mentioned as larval food with no indication whether this was predatory or scavenging behaviour.
