Food: Apple, Pear, Rose, Rowan.
Comments: Hedya ochroleucana has been determined to be strictly Palearctic. North American populations probably comprise at least two species with names and ranges as yet undetermined. H. consanguinana was selected as it is the only candidate described from the west coast (California). There are also two described synonyms from eastern locations (Massachusetts and Nova Scotia).
