Larval Hosts: Leafminers of Hawthorn, Quince, Apple, Cherry, Pear, Pines, Birch.
Comments: This species displays a long black arc from just forward of midwing on the costa to the apex. There is a spot on the costa about midway and the top of the arc approaches more than half way to the inner fringe.
These markings are diagnostic and distinguish this species from other members of the Litini (Coleotechnites &c).
